The ASSU Nominations Commission (a.k.a. NomCom) is comprised of 7 undergraduate and graduate students. Together, these individuals are responsible for interviewing and nominating student members to positions on the 40-45 permanent University Committees during the Spring Cycle in May and also on the host of ad hoc committees that come up during the year.

The time commitment during the Spring Cycle is approximately 25-30 hours over 3 weeks, and 10-20 hours each during the Fall and Winter Quarters, depending on the frequency of unexpected vacancies and ad hoc committees.
